NCW is a community-based program sponsored by the American Chemical Society (ACS) (for complete information please go to the ACS webpage on NCW). The mission of NCW is to reach the public, particularly elementary and secondary school children, with positive messages about chemistry and to make a positive change in the public’s impression of chemistry. This annual event unites ACS local sections, industries, schools, and individuals to communicate the importance of chemistry to our quality of life.
